I've had struggles with food throughout my lifting career and would freak out when I'd see the scales go up, this would either lead me to not eating for hours or binge eating & often extreme cutting leading into competition.
My biggest worry when I signed up was the photos to be logged, insecurity over took my mind and I'd cringe each time I send images over! I also have a very busy schedule working full time, looking after 2 boys, a puppy and a needy husband 🤣 so fitting everything in on the plan was a concern!

Working with Shane has been one of the most beneficial decisions I have made.

Prior to working with Shane, I was committed to competing in the u93kg weight class, but hadn't actioned a plan to achieve it.

I'd always been consistent with training and nutrition, but I knew that to be competitive, I'd need the right people in my corner.
My biggest struggle prior to working with Shane was creating a strategy for my weight cut. I'd course correct far too often and not allow diet changes to play out. My biggest concern prior to working with anyone is whether or not they will truly understand my needs & preferences. I vet coaches and advisors extensively before hiring.
Over the 6 months that Shane and I worked together, I qualified for Irish Powerlifting nationals and managed to place 3rd in my weight class & got a call up to the Irish International squad for Western Euros.

Our weight cut strategy allowed me to be adequately fuelled throughout the preparation for my competitions, and to be at my strongest on meet day.
Shane understood the type of athlete that I am; he's walked the walk. He gave me clear and concise instructions. He took care to make adjustments where necessary and freed up the mental bandwidth for me to focus on training hard.
Had a not signed up, there is a real possibility I could have not made weight for these competitions. I also doubt I'd have placed as well as I did without Shane's guidance.
Success leaves clues. Shane has a laundry list of receipts and proof that he's legitimate. If you're serious about making changes and getting a result, get onto him now before places fill up.
Very few coaches have the expertise and experience that Shane has. If you buy cheap, you'll buy twice. Any time I'm competing in a weight class, you best believe I'll have Shane in my corner.
